The design is rather abstract, nothing is even. the design should repeat and mirror itself from side to side and top to bottom. It looks like a child had a hard time staying in the lines with the crayons. Rather disappointed. Other than that , from a long ways away it looks nice. very thick, almost too thick, for its smaller size. a bit of a stumbling point.

This rug came earlier than promised. A nice surprise! It was well wrapped and in perfect condition. It immediately laid out flat and is of excellent quality. Plush and luxurious. The colors are off on this site however. They are not so muted as represented here. It is a darker camel tan and dusty blue. It's still very beautiful and looks and feels expensive. It's being used under a dining table on a hardwood floor (without a pad so far). It stays right in place. I am very happy with it and recommend this brand to anyone!

Safavieh CL755A-4 Classics Collection Handmade Burgundy and Beige Wool Area Rug, 4-Feet by 6-Feet Review

The color of the Safavieh Classic Cl755A is not as pictured. The center, which looks vibrant, almost gold in the image, is actually a sort of yellowish beige that looks almost dirty. It is a bit better, but not much, in strong sunlight. The photo also looks as if the main color is sort of a bronze with burgundy rosettes, but it is actually burgundy with somewhat darker burgundy rosettes. In fairness to the seller, the image they use appears to be the one supplied by Safavieh and is exactly the same as the images every other vendor has. I even called the Safavieh store near NYC, and while they did not have the rug there, the salesperson said it was bronze and burgandy rosettes. I think he was looking at the same computer image as I was. The upside is that the price I paid for the rugs (I got a 5X8 and a 6' round) were each about half of what Safavieh was selling them for and about a third less than the nearest next dealer I could find on the Internet. The quality seems good, so if the color issue is not important, then the rug is a good deal at the Amazon price. This this is not meant to be a negative comment on the vendor; rather it is caution about the match between the image and the product.
