This is really beautiful but there is 2 reasons why I rated it a four out of five. For some reason the rug smelled horrible. It had a moldy musky smell for weeks that I could not get rid if. It also shed like crazy and I vacuumed it every day for a month before the extreme shedding stopped. All in all it is a beautiful rug and the muted colors are attractive.

I placed this rug in my living room. The cream, brown, and rust colors go nicely with my Craftsman furniture and wood floors. The sample photo and description of the rug is pretty inaccurate for the "Gold" rug - I would say the dominant colors are cream, olive, rust, brown, and sage. The rug is thick, lies flat even without a pad, has not shed too much, and doesn't smell at all. Overall very satisfied.

Looks great and goes well with my hardwood floors and leather couch. I like the beautiful blue flowers in there (the flowers in my 8x10 rug are around 9-10 inches wide).
Great value. Note that there is a similar 'surya' rug (you can search on amazon) which is double the price.
In all, highly recommended. And even though it is a wool rug, it does not shed that much (it does shed, of course, as with any wool rug, but that is to be expected) -> I just have to vacuum every week.
