I just got this set up today and everything seems high-quality and straightforward. It was all a little hard to set up, but I'm 37 weeks pregnant so everything is hard right now! It came in it's travel bag all put together, and really I just had to pull the legs out and lock the cross beams in to place and put in the mattress. It fits perfectly on my side of the bed, and is a good height for our low platform-style set up.

The only thing I was disappointed about which I hadn't foreseen was how the co-sleeper set up is supposed to stay tight against the bed, I hadn't really seen anything about it and I guess I just assumed it was universal. BUT...this mechanism cannot attach to a platform bed where the mattress doesn't line up with the edge of the frame or box spring. It's designed as a plate that you place on the opposite side of the bed with straps that run under your mattress and connect to either side of the co-sleeper. IF the plate can't lay flat against the mattress and frame/box spring then it can't be used as a co-sleeper at all!

So now I have a very nice bassinet, which I think will work fine not attached to the bed. But for anyone with a platform or drawer style bed frame that only uses a mattress be prepared for this to be a problem. I do not want to use the product improperly, so I will only use it as a freestanding bassinet. Still happy I got it as it is very portable and will be great for moving room to room when baby spends most of the time sleeping. It also seems quite roomy so should last some time.
