This is perfect for stuffing all types and sizes of sausages. Easy to use and clean. Most sausage recipes call for either 5 or 10 pounds of sausage, making this stuffer perfect for the home user. Initial cleaning should be done with Goof Off and then cleaned in Hot soaping water since it is shipped from factory with a protective film on it. I also purchased a wooden dowel a little smaller than the inside diameter of the plastic stuffing tube used for my application to push the excess sausage meat left in the container and stuffing tube as the plunger bottoms out so no waste is left (you must remove the plastic stuffing tube to access). Steel gears are also used as this unit is built sturdy! I can not be happier.
