I've decided to edit my original review as once I was able to get the shade to stay up (I used the replacement sticker included in the packaging) the shades do an excellent job of blocking out all light.

My first complaint is that when I pulled the shades out of the bubble wrap, the plastic end of one of the shades fell off. I re-attached it thinking it would snap back in - within 5 minutes it had fallen off 3 more times.

I then attempted to install. I pulled off the stickers, attached to the window and pulled the "trigger" for it to attach to the wall. It did not easily attach - in fact it took about 5 minutes of trying to use it before I could get it to pop out. Once it did attach, I left it installed - and within 5 minutes it came crashing to the ground. It created a huge gouge in my windowsill.

I reattached it (not really sure how long it will stay standing but it really can't cause much more damage at this point - I'm already going to have to hire someone to come fix it) and pulled down the shade - only to notice that the shades do not come down evenly (the left side stayed bunched up while the right side came down as expected)

The Pluses - it truly blocks out light.
The Negatives - I have little confidence it will remain hanging and not cause more damage, disappointed in the quality of the shade.
