These are perfect for the minimalist and for those desiring sturdy simplicity. The size and plainness of it accentuates your culinary work. Whatever you create, these plates should "bring out" the colors of your foods. Nice product. The true test is durability over time; of course having just gotten these at this point I don't know if they will last the decade & beyond, I hope it will and even though they advertised "oven-safe", I just can't imagine putting white china in a hot oven - they should have included temperature tolerances. I'm looking to add their side dishes, bowls, and their cool-curvy coffee cups; latter should be a nice treat for those lazy weekend first-cuppers.
