We were looking for a nice soft carpet to put over our hardwood floor and use as a playmat for our daughter. This one was a great deal on Amazon as always when compared to the prices of comparable wool carpets. It's very soft and comfortable while we are on the floor. The only thing we have noticed is that it does shed a little bit at first (not sure if this will go away long term the more we vacuum it), but I'm sure this is a pretty standard minor annoyance with wool carpets overall.
