This product is an excellent choice for steaming large fish filets and anything else one might have in mind. If there is any "down side" to this steamer it is the size which could be a storage issue if kitchen storage space is limited.

The quality of the steamer is excellent with an exterior mirror like finish which cleans up with ease and does not leave water spots.

The gauge of steel used is sturdy yet not heavy. The bottom is thick unlike less expensive steamers. I have made pasta and soups without the steamer tray with excellent results. The handles do not heat up and may not be used in the oven.
